Foundation Vent Wells are used around vents located at ground level to provide appropriate spacing. Foundations vent wells also prevent dirt from entering vents and ensure smooth air flow which prevents moisture build up.

Your foundation vent well should extend at least 2″ on either side of the foundation vent and extend enough to provide the recommended clearance by the foundation vent manufacturer (typically 4″, 8″, or 12″). Your foundation vent should extend at least 4″ above grade level.

Your foundation vent well should be securely attached to the foundation through the pre drilled holes with appropriate anchors. Check our installation guide for complete details.
